This June, the rich, bold, and soulful flavors of Filipino cuisine take center stage in Singapore as Feast Asia, in collaboration with the Philippine Embassy in Singapore and Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy, presents Filipino Feast: An Island Symphony on Your Plate, happening from June 6 to 15, 2025.

This 10-day celebration is more than just a food event it’s an immersive cultural showcase that invites guests to discover the diversity and depth of the Philippines through dishes that tell stories from the islands.

From the Islands to the City: A Taste of Filipino Heritage

Each dish at Filipino Feast is crafted to reflect the archipelago’s vibrant culinary traditions, shaped by centuries of regional influence, colonial heritage, and natural abundance. Diners can expect to enjoy a flavorful lineup of Filipino favorites from hearty kare-kare and tangy sinigang, to the iconic lechon belly, vibrant flavors of seafood paella, and cold dessert with crushed ice, creamy leche flan, ube, and everything tasty in one glass…Halo-halo!

Curated buffet selections are designed to give guests a well-rounded introduction to Filipino cuisine, highlighting the unique balance of sweet, sour, salty, and savory that defines our food culture.

At the forefront of this special showcase is Chef Edward Esmer, a Filipino chef whose journey began in Manila and now flourishes in Singapore’s dynamic dining scene. Known for his creative vision and deep respect for Filipino culinary roots, he brings a modern, refined twist to traditional dishes, crafting a menu that beautifully balances heritage and innovation. Joining him in this flavorful collaboration is Chef Lester Wang, Executive Chef at Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy, along with his talented Feast Asia team. 

Together, these chefs have created an Island Symphony on Your Plate, a curated experience that brings together the soulful, vibrant flavors of the Philippines and the global standards of Singapore’s hospitality scene.

This event is proudly co-presented by the Philippine Embassy in Singapore, as part of its ongoing cultural diplomacy initiatives to showcase the richness of Filipino heritage abroad. Hosted at Feast Asia, Level 3 of Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy, the venue provides an inviting space where Singaporeans, Filipinos, and international guests can come together over a shared love for food.
